A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program at a middle school in Brockton, MA. This onsite role offers the opportunity to work directly with students requiring specialized educational support in a structured and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized instruction and accommodations for students with special needs.
- Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters student growth and engagement.
- Adapting curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification in Special Education.
