A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in a K-12 school located in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Serving students from 6th through 12th grade in a resource setting, this position offers both part-time and full-time options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in the resource setting.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive educational plans.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet individual goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with families and team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher licensure.
- Experience teaching in a resource setting to middle and high school students (6th–12th grade).
- Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation.
- Ability to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
