Special Education Teacher - Burnsville, MN

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance instructional skills

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques
