Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance instructional skills
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
