This full-time opportunity for a Special Education Teacher is based at an elementary school setting in Burnsville, MN, available for the 2025–2026 school year. The role involves delivering quality academic instruction and social-emotional learning support tailored to students with diverse learning needs. The position runs immediately through June 4, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach academic skills classes with a focus on individualized learning approaches.
  • Provide mini-lessons emphasizing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and literacy strategies.
  • Manage and support a specialized caseload to promote positive educational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid PELSB Teaching License.
  • Required Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD) License.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in special education, particularly working with students demonstrating behavioral and emotional challenges.
