Special Education Teacher in Busby, MT

This opportunity calls for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support 5th and 6th grade students in a K-12 school setting. The role involves working primarily in a resource and pull-out classroom environment, managing a caseload of approximately 10 students. This full-time, contract position offers a dynamic and rewarding experience from immediate start through May 27th.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students in a resource and pull-out setting.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for a caseload of about 10 students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ academic and social development.
• Track and report student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students, especially in grades 5 and 6.
• Ability to manage small caseloads effectively within resource and pull-out room settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
