A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2024-2025 semester in an elementary school setting. This onsite role offers a 32.5-hour workweek from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM, supporting a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students. The contract begins ASAP and runs through December 23, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of inclusion students in an elementary school environment
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Maintain records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts teaching license and certifications in Special Education
  • Prior school-based experience working with elementary-aged children
  • Spanish-speaking skills are preferred but not required
  • Ability to undergo a CORI background check and fingerprinting (letter of suitability from previous employer may be accepted)
  • Comfortable with virtual interview process via Zoom
