Special Ed Teacher | Chapel Hill, North Carolina

A position is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in early childhood education at an elementary school in Chapel Hill, NC. This contract role is set for the current school year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 27th, 2026. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of young learners with special needs, collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The teacher will provide specialized instruction to promote developmental milestones and educational progress.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Certification in special education, preferably with early childhood specialization
