This full-time Special Education Teacher position is focused on supporting 8th-grade students in a middle school setting. The role offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is based in Chicago, IL. This contract opportunity runs for the current school year and provides a valuable environment to apply your specialized skills in special education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of 8th-grade students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote inclusive learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois LBS1 teaching license required.
