Special Ed Teacher | Chicopee, Massachusetts

Seeking a Special Education Teacher for a K-12 school in Chicopee, MA. This contract position is available for the current school year (CSY) and focuses on meeting the specialized needs of students requiring special education services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive educational environments.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities across various grade levels.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
