An immediate full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher serving grades K-5 at an elementary school in Cincinnati, OH. This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, supporting approximately 16 students in a resource and pull-out setting, with some push-in support as needed. The role operates on a standard bell schedule from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing targeted support within both resource rooms and general education classrooms, and collaborating closely with the Behavior Intervention program, specifically working alongside Emergis staff. This position requires a hands-on approach to meet diverse student needs, emphasizing direct instructional support rather than vocational instruction.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education certification for K-5 students
  • Experience with resource, pull-out, and push-in instructional models
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with external behavior intervention teams (Emergis)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage individualized student plans
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments without vocational education duties
