An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students within a K-12 school setting in Colorado Springs, CO. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instructional plans tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective educational strategies
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting methods as needed to achieve learning goals
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with educational regulations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and participation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education or relevant licensure for the state of Colorado
- Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs and disabilities
