A contracted Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 middle and high school setting in Concord, NH. This role requires onsite presence, offering direct support for students with special education needs in grades 6-12. The position involves backfilling an existing role, ensuring continuity of educational services for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instructional services tailored to students with disabilities in middle and high school classrooms.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administration to support student success.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education (SPED) license required. Please be prepared to provide a copy of your license and endorsements.
  • Experience in middle and high school special education settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and special education law.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time with a commitment from December 15, 2025, through June 16, 2026.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based onsite in Concord, NH.
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract duration from December 15, 2025, to June 16, 2026.
