Special Ed Teacher | Converse, Texas

A school located near San Antonio, TX, is seeking two Special Education Teachers with experience in Structured Learning Classrooms (SLC). These positions offer full-time hours and the opportunity to work with intermediate and elementary caseloads.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction within Structured Learning Classrooms (SLC)
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and inclusion
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and behavior
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student development

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in Structured Learning Classrooms preferred
• Certification in Special Education required
• Ability to work with both intermediate and elementary level students
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment

Location:

• Converse, TX (just outside of San Antonio)

Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM with an unpaid lunch
