Special Ed Teacher | Copperas Cove, Texas

This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity serves elementary and middle school students in self-contained classrooms within a K-12 school setting in Copperas Cove, TX. The position covers a contract for the 2025-2026 school year, with a quick start scheduled for May 29, 2025. Teachers will work 40 hours per week supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Classroom Setting: Self-contained classrooms

Position Qualifications:
Candidates must hold one of the following pairs of active Texas certifications to qualify:

• EC–12 Special Education AND EC–6 Core
• EC–12 Special Education AND 4–8 Generalist

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom environment
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with all state and federal special education regulations
