Special Ed Teacher | Cranston, Rhode Island

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a school setting. This position is contract-based, spanning the current school year, and is located in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver instruction and support to students with diverse learning challenges across grade levels K-12.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings.
• Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and behavioral management strategies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic learning environment and meet diverse student needs.
