Special Education Teacher - Cranston, RI

An early childhood special education teaching position is available at a school located in Cranston, RI. This full-time, contract role is onsite and involves working in a self-contained K-3 classroom. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to students with special needs in a K-3 setting
• Implement and manage lesson plans aligned with special education guidelines and students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with school staff and families to foster a positive learning environment
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in special education
