Special Education Teacher - Dearborn, MI

A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available to support students with mild to moderate needs in an in-person setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to work closely with students to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address their unique learning requirements.

Location: Dearborn, MI
Duration: ASAP – June 12, 2026
Schedule: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual needs
• Collaborate with staff and families to develop and implement effective IEPs
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and learning

Qualifications:

• Michigan Special Education Certification with a valid SPED endorsement
• Experience in supporting students with mild to moderate educational needs is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to student-centered instruction
