Special Education Teacher in East Saint Louis, IL

This position involves working as a Special Education Teacher within a K-12 school setting, supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in East Saint Louis, IL. The role is designed for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis, providing instruction and support in 2-3 cross-categorical special education classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to the needs of students with diverse learning challenges.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with state and federal guidelines.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
