A specialized instructional coach role is available for a dedicated professional with experience in special education, intervention, and MTSS within a K-12 school setting. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026, offering a focused opportunity to support educators and ensure compliance with special education laws.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert guidance and support to teachers, particularly in special education-related areas.
- Monitoring and managing all legal steps, rights, required paperwork, and timelines to ensure full compliance with special education due process.
- Collaborating closely with school staff at a single building location to uphold district standards.
- Helping maintain accurrate records related to students with disabilities and ensuring procedural safeguards are met.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Tier 3 or 4 licensure in special education.
- Possession of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or EBD (Emotional and Behavioral Disorders) licenses at Tier 3 or 4 level.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, timelines, and compliance requirements.
- Background in providing instructional coaching or mentoring within a school environment.
- Ability to manage caseload responsibilities effectively and maintain detailed documentation.
Location and hours:
- Position is based at West Education Center in the Eden Prairie, MN, area.
- Contracted for 36.25 hours per week.
