This opportunity is for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students within a dynamic school setting in Elgin, IL. The role involves delivering tailored educational programs that promote inclusive learning and foster the academic and social development of students with diverse needs throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning
• Adapt and differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and abilities
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records to inform instructional strategies
• Utilize positive behavior support techniques to encourage student engagement and success

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification applicable for K-12 settings
• Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
