A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available at a high school in Englewood, CO. This contract position will be for the current school year and offers the chance to work with a small caseload of students with mild to moderate disabilities. The role combines push-in and pull-out support, providing a balanced and engaging teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver special education instruction aligned with individual student IEPs
- Provide push-in support in general education classrooms and pull-out sessions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement educational plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License required
- Experience working with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
