This position is for a Special Education Teacher serving middle and high school students in a K-12 school setting, located in Epping, NH. The role is a contract position spanning the complete school year, from mid-December through mid-June. The position requires an onsite presence, supporting students with special needs to ensure their educational development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) for middle and high school students.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records and adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth.
  • Uphold all policies and procedures aligned with state special education regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education License is mandatory; a copy of the license must be provided.
  • Experience teaching special education in middle and/or high school settings.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to student-centered learning.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time during the contract period.

Work Details:

  • Location: Onsite in Epping, NH
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: December 15, 2025 – June 16, 2026
