Special Education Teacher in Eugene, OR

You will have the opportunity to work closely with 32 students, supporting both group instruction and 1:1 settings. Your days will be dynamic and rewarding—collaborating with dedicated professionals and shaping positive outcomes for each learner. Some students may require assistance with daily activities, including toileting. The assignment runs from now through June 12th, offering a consistent 40-hour week with the bonus of a half-day every other Friday. Standard hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, giving you both structure and work-life balance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Active state teaching license in Special Education
• Experience working with a diverse population of students with a variety of disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort with personal care and daily living support for students, as needed
• Positive, adaptable approach to classroom and individual challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
