Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 20 students, including 1 self-contained student, providing both resource-based and individualized support
  • Implementing push-in and pull-out services to enhance student learning and social integration
  • Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to develop and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations
  • Engaging with families and caregivers to support student development and communicate educational goals

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in both resource and self-contained settings
  • Ability to effectively deliver push-in and pull-out instructional services
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
