Exceptional opportunity for experienced Special Education Teachers to serve K-12 students in a dynamic public school setting located in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This contract position spans a full school year from January 5, 2025, to June 3, 2026, with onsite work only.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a Multi-Category self-contained classroom at the elementary level with approximately 8 students, supported by one assistant.
- Oversee a Multi-Category self-contained classroom within the high school’s employability program, rotating through three classes and serving as case manager for about 15 students with one assistant.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) standards.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and support personnel to promote student success and inclusion.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for all assigned students.
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Special Education license and SCDE certification required.
- Must hold a Multi-Category endorsement.
- Previous experience teaching K-12 special education students, preferably in self-contained classroom settings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to fostering positive educational environments tailored to diverse learner needs.

- Fort Mill, South Carolina (onsite only positions within a K-12 school district).
