Special Ed Teacher | Franklin, North Carolina

A special education teaching opportunity is available in Franklin, NC, for an educator dedicated to supporting students with intellectual disabilities and moderate to severe needs. This role involves working with a class of 12 students, including one with mobility challenges, at an elementary school serving grades K-5.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Utilizing adapted curriculum approaches to enhance learning and engagement.
• Collaborating closely with a team of three dedicated instructional assistants.

Qualifications for this position:

• Degree in Special Education is required.
• Preferred certification in adapted curriculum.
