A special education teaching opportunity is available in Franklin, NC, for an educator dedicated to supporting students with intellectual disabilities and moderate to severe needs. This role involves working with a class of 12 students, including one with mobility challenges, at an elementary school serving grades K-5.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs.
- Utilizing adapted curriculum approaches to enhance learning and engagement.
- Collaborating closely with a team of three dedicated instructional assistants.

Qualifications for this position:
- Degree in Special Education is required.
- Preferred certification in adapted curriculum.
- Experience working with K-5 students with moderate to severe disabilities, including intellectual disabilities and mobility issues.

- Availability to start as soon as possible, continuing through June 2nd.
