Special Ed Teacher - Frisco City, Alabama

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 school in Frisco City, AL. This contract role spans the full school year, providing an excellent opportunity to support diverse learner needs in an inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver push-in and pull-out special education services tailored to student needs
• Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students, including resource services and one self-contained student
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain open communication with families and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for K-12
• Experience managing small caseloads in resource and self-contained settings
• Skilled in both push-in and pull-out instructional models
• Strong commitment to individualized student support and inclusive classroom practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
