Special Ed Teacher | Greenwood, Indiana

A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed to support elementary students in a resource classroom setting for grades K-1. This is a full school year contract position located in Greenwood, IN.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Indiana Special Education Teaching License and have experience working with young learners in special education environments. This role focuses on providing individualized instruction and support to help students with diverse learning needs thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in an elementary resource classroom for K-1 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
• Utilize data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with educational regulations

Qualifications:

• Indiana Special Education Teaching License (required)
• Experience teaching students in an elementary special education setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
