Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, initiate, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to meet students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with related services staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student
  • Manage caseload effectively, providing both academic and behavioral assistance
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and growth

Qualifications:

  • Valid Virginia teaching license with a Special Education endorsement is required
  • Demonstrated ability to write and implement IEPs
  • Preferred: Minimum of two years teaching experience in special education or related fields
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an educational team
