Special Education Teacher in Hampton, VA

This position is for a Special Education Teacher working in a self-contained classroom serving K-12 students. The caseload will be approximately 10 students, with paraprofessional support available. The teacher will be responsible for starting and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and coordinating with related services staff to support student needs. This contract role is located in Hampton, VA, serving a local K-12 school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related services personnel to provide integrated support
• Manage a caseload of approximately 10 students in a self-contained classroom setting

Required Qualifications:

• Virginia Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement
