A Special Education Teacher position is available to support K-12 students within a school located in Harvey, LA. This contract role is set for the current school year (CSY) and requires an active Louisiana Department of Education certification. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the needs of students with diverse learning challenges across K-12 grades.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.
Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana DOE teaching certification in Special Education.
- Proven experience working with special education students in a K-12 setting.

Location & Schedule:
- Based in a K-12 school located in Harvey, Louisiana.

- Work hours typically include 35 hours per week, generally 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
