A full-time special education teaching opportunity is available for a certified professional to support secondary students in a middle school setting. This contract role focuses on delivering specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students requiring special education services. The position is onsite and offers a standard 37.5-hour workweek for the duration of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide specialized instruction in alignment with state standards and student goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to support student engagement and learning.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education (SPED) license or certification in Texas.
- Secondary mathematics certification preferred to support math instruction at the middle or high school level.
- Experience working with middle school-aged students, ideally within a special education context.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, students, and families.

- This position is based onsite in Red Oak, TX, serving students at Red Oak High School.
