Special Ed Teacher | Jerome, Idaho

A dedicated Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school serving students in grades K-2. This full-time role operates on a four-day workweek, Tuesday through Friday, and is contracted for the full school year from August 13 to May 28. The position is located in Jerome, ID.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized pull-out instruction to K-2 students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Special Education.
• Experience working with young learners, preferably in an elementary setting.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
