An opportunity is available for dedicated professionals in the field of special education. This position is focused on creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for elementary students with diverse needs within a self-contained classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements.
  • Deliver differentiated instruction that aligns with IEP goals, ensuring accessible learning experiences in both resource and self-contained settings.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to support student success.
  • Utilize data-driven methods to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and needs.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education Endorsement (LBS1 required).
  • CPI training is required, with the opportunity for training to be provided.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.

This role is positioned in Bolingbrook, IL, within an elementary school environment for the 2025–2026 school year.
