A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Juneau, Alaska, serving K-12 students across multiple special needs. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through May 21, 2026. The role requires onsite presence exclusively, with no option for virtual or hybrid work.
Responsibilities include managing a K-12 caseload and delivering specialized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs while maintaining compliance with state and district guidelines. Collaboration with other educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is essential.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Alaska teaching license with current certifications for Special Education (Type C certification required)
- Experience in working with diverse special education needs across K-12 grade levels
- Ability to provide proof of Alaska licensure and Type C certification upon application
- Willingness to travel onsite within the district; travel expenses may be reimbursed
Location: Juneau, Alaska (Onsite only)
