This role focuses on supporting students in the LIFT program, specifically serving those with low incidence needs, including Autism. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, evidence-based instruction to students in the LIFT program
- Support social, emotional, and academic growth for students with Autism and other low incidence disabilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Special Education License required
- Experience working with middle school students and knowledge of Autism spectrum disorders preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
