Special Ed Teacher | Kila, Montana

A K-12 school in Kila, MT is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside another Special Education Teacher and support a caseload of approximately 12 students in either grades K-4 or 5-8.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate closely with the co-teacher and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth and development

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting preferred
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, empathy, and dedication to student success

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time position, approximately 32 hours per week
• Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
• Located in Kila, Montana
• Contract duration: Immediate start through June 12th
