Special Education Teacher - Kingsley, MI

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 academic year, starting as soon as possible and concluding on May 29, 2026. This full-time, contract role supports high school students in grades 9 through 12 with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize development.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians to ensure transparency and engagement.
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to enhance student learning and accommodate different learning styles.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with high school-aged students in a special education setting.
