Special Education Teacher in Lake City, MI

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education in Lake City, MI. This full-time contract position supports a caseload of 12 students at the elementary level and runs through the current school year until May 29, 2026, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of elementary students with special education requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to meet educational goals.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.
