Special Education Teacher in Lakeville, MN

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a center-based Emotional and Behavioral Disorder (EBD) classroom. This contract position serves grades Kindergarten through 4th grade, working with a diverse group of 11 students alongside a dedicated team of three paraprofessionals.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification in Special Education
• Experience teaching students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD)
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
• Strong classroom management and behavioral support strategies

Location:

• Elementary school setting based in Lakeville, MN

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with EBD
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, parents, and administration to support student progress
