This opportunity seeks a dedicated General Education Teacher to work full-time at a high school level from January 2026 through May 25, 2026. The position requires a professional who is certified and endorsed to teach Mathematics either for grades 5-12 or specifically at the high school level.
Located in Laurel, MT, this contract role includes a full-semester commitment. The workweek consists of 37.5 hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a structured schedule for focused teaching and student engagement. The caseload will consist of 15-20 students, allowing attention to individual student needs while supporting their development in Mathematics.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current and valid teaching certification endorsed in Mathematics for grades 5-12 or high school
- Experience teaching high school math content to a diverse student body
- Ability to manage and support a caseload of 15-20 students effectively
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Familiarity with curriculum standards and instructional strategies for secondary education
Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective math instruction aligned with state standards
- Develop lesson plans that meet the diverse learning needs of students
