A full-semester Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Littleton, Colorado, serving K-12 students with individualized needs. This contract position starts ASAP and extends through May 28, with the possibility of continuation into the 2026-27 school year.

Location: Evergreen, CO (King Murphy Elementary) Schedule: Monday through Thursday (4-day school week) Caseload: One student requiring one-on-one instruction; this student has been homeschooled and is significantly behind academically.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized educational instruction tailored to the student's unique learning needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to foster academic growth.
  • Collaborate with parents, school staff, and support services to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with special education guidelines and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification.
  • Experience with K-12 special education students.
  • Ability to provide individualized instruction effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with families and school personnel.
  • Flexibility to support the student’s learning in a 4-day school schedule.

This role involves billing through VOCO; having a MPC credential is advantageous.
