A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for a leave contract in a K-12 school setting, starting immediately with an anticipated end date of March 2, 2026. The location will be determined within the Littleton, CO area. There is a possibility of contract extension, with confirmation expected by the end of February.

Key qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Professional Teacher License with a Generalist Endorsement in Special Education (grades 5-21) is required.
  • The license must be current and appropriately endorsed; applications for licenses are acceptable only with proof of submission.
  • Travelers, substitute, temporary, or interim licenses will not be considered unless a proper Special Education license has already been applied for.
  • Candidates must have extensive experience with special education instructional practices, a deep understanding of Specially Designed Instruction, and supporting students working toward alternative standards.
  • Strong knowledge of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and experience in collaborative teamwork with other professionals on the IEP team is essential.
  • This role is not open to virtual or hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction to students, implementing IEP goals, and collaborating with educators and specialists to support student success.

This position requires a dedicated professional able to provide consistent, effective support in a K-12 environment.
