This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school in Lowell, MA, designed for the upcoming full semester. The role involves a caseload of 14-15 inclusion students, providing vital support and instruction within an inclusive classroom environment. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 32.5 hours per week, with a contract running immediately through December 23, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state regulations and school policies.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student development and classroom activities.

Preferred and Required Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts teaching license or certifications in Special Education.
  • Previous experience working in school settings, specifically with inclusion students.
  • Spanish speaking skills are preferred but not required.
  • Completion of required CORI background check and fingerprinting; candidates may be able to use a letter of suitability from prior employers.
  • Availability for a Zoom interview during the hiring process.
