Special Ed Teacher - Lowell, Massachusetts

This contract opportunity is for Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in public schools in Massachusetts. Positions are available to cover leaves, providing crucial services to students with moderate special education needs at the middle and high school levels.

Locations and Schedule:

• Two full-time positions at a high school serving grades 9-12, scheduled from 7:30 AM to 2:10 PM until June 2026.
• One full-time position at a middle school serving grades 6-8, scheduled from 7:50 AM to 2:40 PM until March 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional strategies tailored to students with moderate disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to support student learning.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with families and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Valid Moderate Special Education teaching license.
• Experience working with secondary level students (grades 6-12) with moderate disabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage classroom environments effectively.
