Qualifications:
- Active Moderate Disabilities license for grades PreK-8 through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Proven experience in special education, particularly with elementary students
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Location: Lawrence, MA (Travel between two campuses)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the needs of students
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation required by the state
- Engage in regular communication with students, parents, and guardians regarding student achievement and challenges
