Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to a caseload of 12 elementary students with special needs.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that accommodate varying learning abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet individual goals.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education law.
- Patience, adaptability, and effective communication skills with students, families, and staff.
