A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed to support K-12 students in a Montana school from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The position involves working alongside another Special Education Teacher in a collaborative environment, with a caseload of approximately 12 students. This contract role is scheduled for the current school year, starting immediately and concluding on June 12th.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in grades K-4 or 5-8
- Collaborate with co-teachers to develop and implement IEPs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and communicate with families
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with K-8 students in special education settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans and accommodations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule and Location:
- Full time, approximately 32 hours per week
- Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM
- Located in Marion, Montana
