Special Ed Teacher - Marion, Montana

A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed to support K-12 students in a Montana school from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The position involves working alongside another Special Education Teacher in a collaborative environment, with a caseload of approximately 12 students. This contract role is scheduled for the current school year, starting immediately and concluding on June 12th.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in grades K-4 or 5-8
• Collaborate with co-teachers to develop and implement IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with families
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K-8 students in special education settings
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans and accommodations
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Schedule and Location:

• Full time, approximately 32 hours per week
• Tuesday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM
• Located in Marion, Montana
