This opportunity involves working directly onsite to provide targeted educational assistance tailored to diverse learning and behavioral needs in a structured school setting.
Positions available include:
- 2 Elementary Resource teachers focusing on Math, Reading, and Writing support
- 1 Middle School Developmental Classroom teacher specializing in low cognitive and basic skill development
- 3 Elementary Developmental teachers concentrating on behavioral support and foundational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and interventions aligned with students' IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavioral observations
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behaviors and learning engagement
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 levels
- Experience working with diverse learners, including those with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, students, and families
- Ability to manage classroom environments effectively and implement individualized instructional plans
