Grades 9 - 12 Special Education Teacher - Mechanicsburg, PA

A high school special education opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide Autistic Support to students in grades 9 through 12. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from ASAP through June 2, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to the needs of students with autism in a high school setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support

Qualifications:

• Full Pennsylvania Special Education Licensure (Instructional I or II) required, or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date
• Experience working with students with autism in secondary education settings is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to student-centered education and continuous professional development

Contract Details and Benefits:
